The State Support Team for Region 3 provides families of students with disabilities technical assistance and professional development in supporting students reach their fullest potential.  Parents can become involved with their child's learning by understanding the: 

• Academic Content Standards, 
• data collection and accountability, and
• how to support students with different learning styles.

This section will offer families information on educational supports, educational laws/regulations, and through parent engagement families can ensure their child:

• equality of opportunity,
• full participation,
• independent living, and
• economic self-sufficiency.
